Daniel Torres Burriel is committed to making Lector accessible to everyone, following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA and the European standard EN 301 549.

Compliance status

Lector is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA. The interface was reviewed by its owner on 1 November 2026 (self-assessment).

What we do

• Full keyboard navigation with visible focus and classic shortcuts (press ? in the reader).
• Text labels on every icon button for screen readers.
• Semantic page structure, headings and landmarks.
• Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 and layouts that work at 200% zoom and on mobile.

Known limitations

Articles come from third-party sites; their images may lack descriptions and their formatting is outside our control.
