1. Data controller
Daniel Torres Burriel, NIF 29112785Y, Coso 62, planta 6, 50001 Zaragoza, España. Contact: torresburriel@me.com.
2. Data we process
- Account data received from Google when you sign in: name, email address, profile picture and a user identifier.
- Data you create in the app: subscriptions, folders, and which articles you have read or starred.
- Basic technical data needed to keep your session open and the service secure.
We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or profiling.
3. Purpose and legal basis
We use your data only to provide the reader and sync it across your devices. The legal basis is the performance of the service you request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
4. Retention
Data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account and all its data at any time from Settings; it is erased immediately.
5. Recipients and processors
We do not sell or share your data. Technical providers act as processors under data processing agreements: Google (sign-in) and the cloud hosting and database provider of the platform Lector runs on. Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
When Lector downloads a feed or article, the request comes from our servers, not from your device, so those sites do not receive your data.
6. Cookies and local storage
Lector only uses strictly necessary storage in your browser to keep you signed in. These are exempt from consent under article 22.2 LSSI-CE, so no cookie banner is shown.
7. Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your data by writing to torresburriel@me.com. You can export your subscriptions (OPML) and delete your account yourself from Settings. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
